Famous Food in Jaipur
Although one might have eaten Samosa's and Kachori's across India, but it is the state of Rajasthan that made it famous across world and what's better place than the Rajasthan's capital city to try some mouth watering Samosa and Kachori's and a lot of other street food. So wear your glasses and be ready to read a tale about streets that are screaming with tasty food.
1. Pyaz Kachori:
The Rawat Empire, a place every Jaipuri or non jaipuri knows about Jaipur which is serving Marwar's tradition from more than 50 years, one kachori at time.
Hop in here for the most favourite of all - Pyaz Kachori and sweet Mawa Kachori. These Kachori's are also being exported to few middle eastern countries. This Rawat empire is known for its legacy across India. Do fold your sleeves before entering in this restaurant as you may need to fight to get your share of kachori.

2. Pani Patasi:
Pani puri, pani patasi, gupchup, pani pakodi.. a dish that has as many names as Lord Krishna and is loved as much as him. Call it whatever, this dish is famous all over in India, but Gopal Patasi Bhandar is one of the most famous Patasi centre having a legacy of more than 60 years. This shop has potatoes cut into cubes rather than mashed, puri's of 3 different types. A perfect shop to swivel your taste buds with enough permutation combination of puri's.

3. Lassi:
In the scorching heat of Jaipur, one often looks for a refreshing cool drink that can help them fight with the heat and what's better than our own lassi. The shop on M.I. road is now been operated by the third generation. You won't get a drop, if you reach there after 4:30pm. A long stroll across the M.I. road with a kulhad lassi in the hand is all that you need.

4. Rabri Ghewar:
Laxmi Mishtan Bhandar is one of the most iconic places when it comes to sweets, especially the most famous - Rabri Ghewar. They started in 1727! Yes, you read it right, 1727! If you're in Jaipur, go try their mouth-watering delicacies like Phini, Balushahi, Mishri Mawa, Milk Cake, Doda Barfi, Mawa Kachori and much more. LMB is also famous for its wide variety of namkeens, pickles and chat. If you're heading to their restaurant, don't forget to try the Special Rajasthani Thali.
